Badr Al-Zidan: Keek’s famous face

Saudi media person Badr Al-Zidan has been working for the television (TV) and the radio and now he has become famous through the social media. His daily postings of short vlogs on his Keek account have taken Al-Zidan’s fame to a whole new level.
Al-Zidan studied Special Education and majored in dealing with the hearing impaired. He later moved to the world of media.
In a recent TV interview, he said he likes to introduce himself to his fans outside the studio where he works. For him, social media is a bridge to where people used to see him behind the scenes but are now invited to share his daily life experiences.
Al-Zidan has had to deal with unpleasant rumors but he finds them funny. He says he respects constructive criticism saying, “Any PR (public relations) is good PR.”
He left the radio after the success of his Keek channel and is now being offered a chance to go on TV and Youtube.
Al-Zidan has almost 1,081,013 followers on Twitter and more than 780,637 followers on his Keek channel. He also has 283,664 subscribers and counting.
