The Supreme Court of Saudi Arabia has announced that Wednesday, Aug. 7, is the 29th day of Ramadan as nobody sighted the Shawwal crescent on Tuesday.
The court said it would meet again today to see whether anybody had sighted the new moon in order to determine Eid Al-Fitr, a celebration that marks the end of Ramadan fasting.
