Supreme Court orders sighting of Shawwal crescent

The Supreme Court has requested the public to look for the new Shawwal crescent on Tuesday evening to determine when Eid Al-Fitr comes.
“Those who witness the moon should inform the nearest court. If the moon was not sighted on Tuesday, they should look for it on Wednesday evening,” the court said in a statement.
