The Riyadh Diplomatic Quarter is loaded with expats trying to sort out their employment status with their embassies. What you may see there, in some cases, is simply unacceptable.

A huge numbers of expats, especially laborers, are trying to finalize their documents, but some embassies are not responding properly. The results are unfortunate and disappointing. Coming across such a painful scene leads one to wonder: Do some embassies realize that it is 45 degree Celsius? Do they know that they left their citizens without shaded waiting areas (not to mention air conditioning)?
From a humanitarian perspective, embassies were expected to have a better handle of the situation. This is based on the fact that, globally, embassies are there to help their citizens. Your nationals are racing against time! Any delay in the correction process will leave them hopeless and helpless! Those who reached out to the authorities that represent them should be supported, at least, by a faster treatment of the agony.
