Tevez pleads guilty to 2 driving offenses

MACCLESFIELD, England: Manchester City striker Carlos Tevez has pleaded guilty to driving with his license suspended and without insurance.
The Argentina international appeared in court near Manchester on Thursday after being charged with the offenses last month. The maximum penalty for driving while disqualified is six months in prison.
Tevez was banned from driving for six months on Jan. 16 after failing to respond to letters by police about speeding. However, he was stopped by police while driving a sports car on a road near his home on March 7, following an anonymous tip-off.
Tevez has scored five goals for City since being charged.
