New Bentley Flying Spur V8 arrives in Middle East

• The new Flying Spur V8 has arrived at Bentley dealers across the Middle East. The world’s best luxury sedan brings its 4.0-liter twin turbo V8 engine to the market, introducing the brand’s unique blend of luxury performance to a wider audience of premium customers. The new model joins the Flying Spur flagship W12, the fastest ever four door Bentley, and broadens the options for customers looking to upgrade from a premium sedan to the ultra-luxury performance automotive bracket. The new Flying Spur offers Middle East customers a unique blend of sculpted, sleek coachwork, exquisite craftsmanship and advanced on-board technology. This is coupled with Bentley’s 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine which produces 507 PS (500 bhp/373 kW) and 660 Nm, and powers the Flying Spur V8 to 60 mph in 4.9 seconds (0100 km/h in 5.2 seconds) and on to a top speed of 183 mph (295 km/h). This impressive performance comes with a fuel range of 520 miles (840 km). • With its ultra-dynamic proportions, elegantly sporty lines, low-slung silhouette and futuristic design features, BMW’s i8 plug-in hybrid sports car is expected to cause a sensation on the roads when it goes on sale across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia this month. Signalling the future of sustainable motoring, the BMW i8 combines the performance and appeal of a sports car with the fuel consumption of a small car. The BMW i8 is the second model after the BMW i3 to be unveiled by BMW i, the company’s sub-brand focusing solely on developing sustainable products and services. Commenting on the vehicle, Stavros Paraskevaides, Managing Director of Mohamed Yousuf Naghi Motors (BMW Group), said: “The BMW i8 signals the revolution of the automotive industry and heralds an era of sustainable motoring. • Luxury entrepreneur Stephen Hung has purchased the largest Rolls-Royce Phantom fleet in the world, placing an order for 30 Bespoke Extended Wheelbase Phantoms for his Louis XIII hotel in Macau. This transaction represents the world’s single largest order of Rolls-Royces ever. Two of the fleet will be the most expensive Rolls-Royce Phantoms ever commissioned. The deal was formalized on 16th September 2014 at a signing ceremony at the Home of RollsRoyce at Goodwood in West Sussex, England. The signing ceremony was attended by Rolls-Royce CEO, Torsten Mueller-Oetvoes, Louis XIII Chairman, Stephen Hung, the board of Rolls-Royce Motor Cars, Louis XIII executives and a representative from Graff Diamonds. “Macau is rapidly evolving into the luxury capital of the world and we are honored to have the opportunity to add to Macau’s many distinctions, the world’s largest fleet of Rolls-Royce Phantoms, including the two most luxurious vehicles Rolls-Royce has ever built. Louis XIII and Rolls-Royce Motor Cars share the same philosophy: to deliver the perfect experience to the world’s most discerning customers,” said Stephen Hung.

• Nissan has launched its All-New X-Trail in the Middle East. The new compact SUV is available at all Nissan dealerships across the region from today. Muscular, modern and packed with technology, the new Nissan X-Trail originally made its world debut at the Frankfurt Motor Show. Building upon Nissan’s respected 4x4 heritage and benefiting from the company’s crossover leadership the new X-Trail re-defines the compact SUV segment.
