Modi’s hate campaign

It seems Narendra Modi has gone insane while trying to pursue his dreams of occupying the prime minister’s chair somehow. His uttering of cheap words against clean, highly known and internationally respected personalities needs to be condemned by all Indians.
His speaking style looks similar to that of the trade unionist. Instead of considering himself as a part of the government of a country, he always indulges in petty mudslinging games in a very dramatic fashion, which is commonly seen during any election or trade union meetings.
For example, his recent claim that the UPA government spent Rs. 1,800 crores ($ 356 million) on Sonia’s foreign tours and treatment which has been found to be untrue, is not only ludicrous but smacks of a corrupt mindset.
For his speeches, one can easily find out that he cannot address an intellectual audience, but only to an uneducated gallery, while playing with their emotions.
With this kind of a personality, I doubt whether today’s new statesmen across the globe will ever recognize him as a representative of India, which has already caught world’s attention when our present Prime Minister Manmohan Singh speaks. Because he speaks sense and not cheap rhetoric like Modi.
Today, the need of the hour for India is to choose a world leader to lead it internationally and not an actor like Modi.
We, as true patriotic Indians, need to stop such people from grabbing the center stage at any point of time, otherwise we will be committing a very big mistake. — Masroor Ahmed, Jeddah
