Dress up this season with a splash of color

The SS15 collection by Koton features beautiful urban prints and lots of colors that comprise a fresh summer look for men, women and children.
The collection has already hit stores in the Middle East targeting those who have style and aim to look fresh, fashionable and updated with the latest fashion scene.
Inspired by the style icon herself, the Jackie O trend sees 70s styles make a return to Koton. Simple shapes of maxi dresses, tunic tops, wide leg trousers, a-line skirts and capri pants are found in a color palette of baby blue, white, navy, mustard, caramel and orange with florals, paisley print and stripes. The Athletic Elegance line is the trend of the season. Clean, minimal tailoring teams up with athletic influences such as cuffs, cut aways, lace up and stripes. A monochrome color scheme with highlights of red, salmon and blue and a hint of print keeps this trend sleek.
Everyone’s favorite nautical trend is back in the shape of Modern Sailor — a stylish, seaworthy collection highlighted with buttons, stripes and stitching detail, with minimal styling and clean lines. Blue hues and white dominate, with flashes of print and color blocks.
The Soft & Pale trend sees a muted color palette of pale grey, ecru and powder pink with feminine floral prints. As for the Urban Surfer and Earthy Utility trend, they are the high summer stories to refresh your wardrobe mid-season. Earthy Utility is the classic safari look with tones of black, caramel, khaki, white and the region’s favorite — animal print. Bright colors are celebrated in the Urban Surfer theme, with clean modern lines and urban style in pale blues, turquoise, green, lemon and orange with clashing prints, colorful stripes and exotic florals. Of course, there is also a wide swimwear range that complements all body shapes, comprising of bikinis, cover ups, hats and bags in beautiful colors, cuts and prints.
As for men, Koton launched four main trends. The California Beach features a floral theme, with on-trend pastels, bold prints and bright colors. The jungle-themed story Safari Utility makes use of khaki, camel, and stone colors with key prints. The city with dark bold tones of black, grey and red and strong color blocks inspire the Urban trend. As for Summertime Blues, Koton goes hand in hand with the women’s wear Modern Sailor theme — with tones of blue and nautical stripes.
Koton Kids Spring/Summer collection pulls inspiration from far and wide — the deserts of Mexico, sailing ships in the sea and the Wild West.
For little girls there are plenty of white gypsy detailed dresses, tunics with pompoms and bohemian blouses are combined with pastel pink trousers. Key colors include indigo, blue, white, khaki and camel on jeans, denim shorts, sweaters and skirts. For little boys, there are beautiful tropical patterns, animal print and huge leaf designs create a bright and attractive collection with Bermuda shorts, sweatshirts, tees, trousers and vests.
Two key themes lead the way for the Koton Olé in the SS15 collection.
Tropical Love is a bright, eye-catching collection with cheerful prints, seasonal florals, oversized green leaves and palm tree patterns. Overalls, dresses, crop tops and kaftans in a color palette of glowing green, bright pink, orange, yellow, black and white make up the collection. The antithesis to Tropical Love is Western Girl, inspired by Mexico and Western Californian deserts. The color palette of camel, caramel, earthy colors, sky blue, pastels and sweet pink are found on printed kaftans, skinny jeans, tasseled suede vests and floral dresses.
