The Saudi Electronic University (SEU) announced yesterday that a total of 8,000 boy and girl students have qualified to enroll for bachelor’s and master’s degree courses for the next academic year.
Abdullah Al-Mousa, director of SEU, said that those selected for admission should mail all the required documents to the university’s website (www.seu.edu.sa) by Aug. 8. If any information supplied is found incorrect, the applicant would be disqualified, he said.
Speaking to the Saudi Press Agency, Al-Mousa said a total of 23,000 students had applied for enrollment during the period between July 25 and July 31. Of these, 8,000 qualified students have been chosen for enrollment. A total of 7,900 will be enrolled in bachelor’s degree courses and 100 for master’s degree courses. Bachelor’s degree courses will be offered in e-commerce, accountancy, IT and health informatics while the master’s degree course will be in international business administration.
Secondary school graduates who have been selected for bachelor’s degree courses are those with a percentage of marks above 88.62 (boys) and 70 (girls) in Riyadh, 86.11 (boys) and 85.16 (girls) in Dammam, 84.44 (boys) and 74.14 (girls) in Jeddah and 76.75 (boys) and 74.5 (girls) in Madinah.
Al-Mousa urged those who secured marks higher than this but did not receive the enrollment memo to call the university on 920001590 or e-mail admissions@seu.edu.sa.
