Easing up patients’ transfer

Health Minister Dr. Abdullah Al-Rabeeah has ordered a speedy implementation of a project to facilitate transfer of patients between hospitals in the Kingdom. The program aims to transfer patients from one hospital to another whenever required in minimal time and with full transparency of the process.
The project will be implemented within three months as the computer system for the program has already been successfully commissioned in three provinces.
The minister also ordered the appointment of Dr. Khaled Al-Hussain as adviser to the minister with the responsibility of supervising the program, the Health Ministry spokesman Khaled Al-Mirghalani, said in a statement to the SPA.
The minister also congratulated to all those who struggled to better the quality of health services.
