As its continues to build on its strong legacy of community footprints responsibility, the Ritz-Carlton, Riyadh hosted Sanad Children's Cancer Support Society for a Ramadan iftar party. A group of 30 children who have battled cancer and their families were invited to enjoy a day of fine dining, as well as elaborate celebrations allowing the young cancer fighters and survivors to rebel their cancer, retrieve their lives and connect with others.
To further their experience, the Ritz-Carlton, Riyadh ladies & gentlemen organized a day of Garga'an. It is a GCC tradition where children knock on doors with a bag and scream Garga'an to fill their bags with candy. The kids were able to do their own handmade bags to fill it with lots of giveaways from the Ritz-Carlton, Riyadh kids club which is well-equipped with an extensive array of fun from bouncing castles to face painting, allowing the kids to enjoy their entire night being kids again. This effort was partnered with Sanad Children's Cancer Support Society.
“This initiative is part of the Community Footprints program, where ladies and gentlemen of the Ritz-Carlton, Riyadh actively give back to their local communities, with engage, contribute and inspire as the guiding principles of our social responsibility program - Community Footprints where we contribute to many other activities such as hunger and poverty relief, well-being of children and environmental conservation,” says the Ritz-Carlton, Riyadh whose ladies and gentlemen are always proud to make a lasting contribution.
