Dunes International School, Alkhobar, celebrated its annual day under the theme: Life is beautiful.
The boys’ section function was graced by Indian artist and director Sanjay Khan as chief guest and his son actor Zayed Khan as the guest of honor.
Sanjay Khan said: “Education is the movement from darkness to light and is the key to success in life. Gratitude is courteous and pleasant, to enact gratitude is generous and noble but to live gratitude is to touch heaven.”
Zayed Khan thanked the entire school community and said: “Teachers are magicians who make a lasting impact on the lives of their students.”
Parents, educationists and dignitaries, including members of the school management committee — Awad Al-Qahtani, Amjad Khan and Sleem Ur Rahman, attended the program.
The event started with the welcome speech and report by school Principal D. Manon who emphasized that “Dunes is committed not only toward academic excellence but comprehensive development of the students.”
“Dunes International School-Alkhobar has bloomed since April 2011. Since then, there has been no looking back and it has headed toward success,” says the school’s Managing Director Nadeem Tarin.
