Construction Products Holding Company (CPC) emphasized the importance of CSR and expressed its support in the progress of local tourism by participating as a sponsor for the recently held "Colors of Saudi Arabia Forum.”
The five-day forum under the theme "Live Saudi Arabia" took place in the Riyadh Convention & Exhibition Center. It brought together a national photography exhibition, workshops, training courses, and a photo contest among professional photographers who highlighted tourist sites, the natural environment of Saudi Arabia, and its heritage.
Regarded as the first forum of its kind, it gained great importance, and hopefully will encourage photographers to use the treasures of the Kingdom and show their appreciation of its beauty by taking photos of different sites around the Kingdom.
Faysal Alaquil, director of business development and head of CSR at CPC, received on behalf of the company an honorary recognition shield from Prince Sultan bin Salman, president of Saudi Commission for Tourism and Antiquities (SCTA).
Alaquil said the company's sponsorship of the forum is in line with the national program through supporting young citizens who wish to participate in social responsibility initiatives, which is in accordance with the company's activities toward the enrichment of the Saudi youth.
Moreover, the forum aims to support the efforts of the SCTA to achieve the objective of attracting specific types of tourists and to learn more about the history and modern civilization of Saudi Arabia.
