Al Nahdi Medical Co. introduces 500 new jobs for Saudi youth

As part of its strategic direction to become the employer of choice in the Kingdom, Al Nahdi Medical Company (NMC), a pharmacy chain, launched a special campaign providing more than 500 new jobs in three key specializations for Saudi youth.
Through this campaign, NMC is introducing three job categories including 50 dermatology and beauty specialists, 250 pharmacist assistants, and 200 cashiers.
In order to achieve the objectives of the campaign, NMC organized an orientation day for the applicants to comprise a detailed presentation and overview on the company, its mission, and objectives. The event witnessed a strong turnout by various community sectors. On location, applicants were received by members of the human resources team and were ushered to a special waiting area which was set up to explain to the applicants the company’s various activities. Then they proceeded to another room, which was specially dedicated for interviews.
“Alnahdi Pharmacies, which are strategically dispersed across the Kingdom, are only 5 minutes within reach to 60 percent of the Kingdom’s inhabitants. We also have a strategic plan to expand our reach to become 90 percent by 2016,” said Hosam Al-Qurashi, senior director marketing and external affairs at Alnahdi Medical Company. And in order to achieve this objective, we had to recruit and train qualified and capable young talent able to support our expansion plans, which are in response to the wise directives of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah, that called for the nationalization of the work force and supporting the Saudi youth.”
Al-Qurashi added: “Our goal is to become the employer of choice for the local work force in the Kingdom. Moreover we have an ambitious human resources plan to nationalize jobs and attract the best candidates and are providing on the job training opportunities through NMC virtual academy.”
