Many Happy Returns of the Day

It’s a pleasure to join Arab News in marking the paper’s 30th anniversary. It’s like celebrating with an old friend who one sees everyday of one’s life. Every morning Arab News is there with my first cup of coffee with its daily trusted news. Perhaps, this celebration is close to my heart as it coincides with the celebration of Al Baik’s 30th anniversary.

I would like to take this opportunity to express my heartfelt appreciation and praise to all those who helped make Arab News where it is today. Thirty years of commitment and professional journalism have earned it the reputation of being one of the most successful dailies in our region.

And what headlines do we hope to see in the next 30 years? “Saudi Scientist Wins Nobel Prize,” “Jeddah Recognized as the Best City in the World,” “Al Baik Serving Its 100th Market Across the Globe” and a lot more, Inshallah.

We wish many happy returns to Arab News.

Rami Abu-Ghazaleh, CEO, Al Baik Food Systems Company Ltd.
