IISD bags double at Cluster Meet

DAMMAM: The International Indian School in Dammam (IISD) added another feather in its cap by clinching the overall title in the recently concluded 19th Cluster Meet of the CBSE-affiliated Indian Schools in the Kingdom held in Riyadh.

The IISD achieved this remarkable victory winning tightly competed events, in which 700 students from 25 schools in the Kingdom took part.

IIS Dammam’s senior and junior debate teams also won the First Runners-up positions in the Interschool Debate.

Master Naofel Nasim Ahmed and Ms Livia Mary Thomas obtained runners-up positions in the Seniors Group while Master Christo Pol Anto and Ms Nikita George bagged the runners-up positions in the junior category.

Naofel Nasim Ahmed (Seniors) was adjudged as the best speaker and Ms Nikita George as the second best speaker in the Junior Category.

Principal E. K. Muhammad Shaffe congratulated the winners and their teacher-guides for their efforts to bring laurels to the school.
