RIYADH: Yoshio Shirai, president and member of the board of Hino Motors Ltd., Japan arrives today on an official visit. He is accompanied by other officials of Hino Motors and Toyota Tsucho Corporation, the Japanese trading house.

During his day’s visit, Shirai will pay a visit to the Hino showroom here, which is managed by Jamjoom Vehicles and Equipment (JVE).

“Despite the world economic crisis, we expect big growth of the commercial vehicle market in the Kingdom,” a spokesperson for the group, Hino Motors Ltd. told Arab News. Shirai is here to ensure Hino’s continued support and to appreciate JVE’s efforts to increase Hino sales and its brand image in KSA.

JVE has been Hino distributor in the Kingdom for more than three decades.

The visiting Hino chief will attend a business lunch with Hino fleet customers at the Four Seasons Hotel in order to promote free exchange of views.
