BAHRAIN: A GCC conference on “Investments in oil, gas and petrochemicals during the world financial crisis” will be held at Gulf Hotel in Bahrain from Oct. 20-21. Described as the first of its kind, the conference has the support of Bahraini Minister of Oil & Gas Affairs Abdul Hussain bin Ali Mirza. The Federation of the GCC Chambers of Commerce and Industry is organizing the event in association with Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry against the backdrop of collapsing global growth and rising oil prices.
