MADINAH, 1 February 2005 — Police in Madinah are questioning a thief who stole four laptop computers worth SR20,000 but forgot to take the vital cable connections with him, Al-Hayat newspaper reported. As soon as the theft was reported to police they alerted all computer shops in Madinah to look out for a criminal who might visit them asking for cable connections for a particular brand of laptop. The thief soon fell into the police trap as he showed up in one of the shops trying to buy the cable.
