KHAMIS MUSHAYAT, 2 November 2004 — A drug dealer jumped into an abandoned well in a desperate bid to escape being caught by anti-narcotics squad, Okaz newspaper reported. The man remained in the well until the squad officials left the scene. Then he realized that he was trapped inside the well without being able to get out. He kept shouting all night for help until a passerby heard him and summoned the fire forces. Once the exhausted man was rescued and taken to a nearby hospital waiting anti-drug officials were too quick to arrest him.
