DAMMAM, 16 April 2004 — A businessman was robbed at gunpoint of SR116,000 here, Al-Watan Arabic daily reported. The man had withdrawn the money only minutes before, apparently unaware he was being watched, the paper said. The gunman pounced when the man entered a store “to make a large purchase,” according to the report. Police in the Eastern Province are also searching for a gang employing female operators to lure potential victims, according to another report.
