MAKKAH: Pilgrims who are interested in visiting historical sites in Makkah and the surrounding areas have called upon Saudi authorities to establish a ropeway to Jabal Al-Noor to help the guests of God visit the Hera Cave where the first verses of the Holy Qur’an were revealed to Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). At present it takes nearly two hours for a person to visit the cave, that is situated on top of Al-Noor Mountain, which is about 643 meters high.
