JEDDAH: The Islamic Develo-pment Bank and Effat University jointly announced on Tuesday the 5th Edition of the IDB Prize for Women’s Contribution to Development and signed an agreement naming Effat University as the prize’s academic adviser. The prize has been divided into two categories: the first $50,000 award is for individuals (a woman or a group of women) and the second $100,000 award is for institutions that support women. The theme of the prize this year is “Promoting the Development of Young Women.”
