MADINAH: A wedding function was delayed for more than an hour in Madinah when a rat was found scampering around in the bride’s chamber, a local daily reported. The guests started panicking after hearing the bride and her friends screaming. Many of them ran out into the open road without realizing it was just a rodent causing the commotion. Loudspeakers were used to calm people down and a host of workers were sent to hunt down the uninvited guest. After about an hour the rat was caught and killed and the celebrations resumed.
